Junior Landscape Designer/Softscape Installations Leader

Full Time-Seasonal
Distinguishing Characteristics
• Excellent knowledge of Dynascape
• Excellent knowledge of plant materials
• Minimum 3 years experience working in a landscape related environment
• Demonstrate high level of energy, and great work ethic
• Hold a Diploma/Degree in Landscape Design
• Excellent interpersonal and people skills
• Valid drivers license, reliable transportation and a safe driving record
• Able to work as part of installation team

Position: Landscape Installations Apprentice

Company: Established Landscape Installations Company based out of Mission, BC
Job Location: Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley
Needed: 1
Job status: Permanent

Skills and attributes required:
High level of energy and great work ethic
Excellent interpersonal and people skills
Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
Physically fit and able to lift up to 80 lbs.
Willingness to learn and retain new skills
Common sense.

**Previous experience and asset but not necessary.**

Job Description:
Assist in the installation of the following: plants, sod, patios, fences, wood structures, concrete forms, retaining walls, water features, etc. Learn how to run various machinery used in landscape construction.
This is NOT a landscape maintenance position.

Education:
Post secondary education in the field of horticulture and/or landscape design an asset, but not necessary
Wages:
$12.00 to $15.00 per hour depending on attitude and experience. Can be more if you have previous experience and are good at what you do.
